GRAPE BOXES AND GENERATORS

TWO PHASE GRAPE GENERATORS

Dual phase Real-Vid sodium metabisulphite generators for 5 to 7 kilos in 30x40 boxes

Name:

(SO2) Sodium Metabisulphite Generator (SO2)

Active ingredient:

95% Sodium Metabisulphite, food-grade E-223

Components:

White paper with low density polyethylene and natural Kraft paper.

All components indicated are approved for being in contact with food.

Specifications:

Dual phase generator, one fast and one slow for the sale and storage of unidirectional coverage.

Fast phase: primordial, as it begins to work from the very first contact with the grape for some 10 days. This phase is the one responsible for disinfecting the grapes and preparing them for the slow phase. For this phase, the generator has 1 grm of metabisulphite.

Slow phase: is responsible for diffusing a regular quantity of SO2, creating from the fourth day an average concentration around the grapes of 8to10 ppm, during 8 to 10 weeks, always providing they are maintained at a good temperature in the cold rooms. For this phase, the generator carries 6grm of metabisulphite. This generator has a weight of 20 grams + - 5%

Description:

The generator consists of a rectangular sheet of white paper, specially treated and laminated, of 350 m/m length by 240 m/m width, made up of 18 little cells distributed regularly, all of this entailing an action surface of 840 cm/2. These normal or conservation generators are packaged into boxes of 1.000 units and are stamped in Red. A pallet consists of 20 boxes and therefore a total of 20.000 units/pallets.

Note:

The doses of metabisulphite in generators can vary according to client specification, subject to 2 months prior notice in the order request.

Registration:

Health Authority Registration for packaging of additives No. 31,02328/A

Important:

The company guarantees the composition, formulation, content and operation of generator during 60 days. The user will be responsible for any damage caused by the partial or total failure to follow the instructions on the label.

FAST GRAPE GENERATORS

Fast Real-Vid sodium metabisulphite generators

Name:

Sodium Metabisulphite (SO2) Generator

Active ingredient:

95% Sodium Metabisulphite, food-grade E-223

Components:

White paper with low density polyethylene and natural Kraft paper.

All components indicated are approved for being in contact with food.

Specifications:

Fast single phase generator which begins to work from the very first moment of making contact with the grape and has a duration of between 10 to 15 days in the cold room at ideal temperature.

This generator is the one most commonly used for the transportation in refrigerated lorries of pre-cooled grapes, as it would not be advisable to transport recently harvested grapes as refrigerated lorries do not cool to the degree required for the generator to work normally.

This generator carries 2,5 gms of metabisulphite and has a weight of 11 grams + - 5%.

Description:

The generator consists of a rectangular sheet of white paper, specially treated and laminated, of 350 m/m length by 240 m/m width, made up of 18 little cells distributed regularly, all of this entailing an action surface of 840 cm/2.

These fast or transportation generators are packaged into boxes of 2000 units and are stamped in Green.

Registration:

Health Authority Registration for packaging of additives No. 31,02328/A

HIRE OF COLD ROOMS FOR GRAPES, FRUIT AND VEGETABLES

Cold rooms for the conservation of grapes, fruit and vegetables

The increasingly frequent opportunity for producers to place their products both within and beyond their own borders requires the product to withstand more extensive journeys that those accustomed to on the sales circuit, without the loss of quality.

To this end, and to increase conservation capacity for grapes, our company places at the disposal of its clients 5 large-capacity cold rooms for the conservation of table grapes.

It is advisable to send the boxes to the cold room as soon as possible and maintain the air temperature throughout the entire conservation period at between 0 and 0.5ºC below zero and at 90% relative humidity.

During the conservation period we carry out periodic inspections for the purposes of ascertaining the degree of evolution of the quality.

Faced with the demands of developed countries in relation to the quality and safety of food sold, agricultural research in general has focused on generating technology with an emphasis on good practices, either in terms of the handling of crops or products.

These rooms have the option of renewing the air for the conservation of fruit and vegetables.
